Pune, the city of life, a city of youngsters, an education hub and now more cafes in town. If you are a frequent visitor of Pune’s Koregaon Park, do visit this new tiny cafe name ‘Beetroot Bistro’ located at a terrace. Since it is somewhat difficult to locate but you would be amazed when you reach there. The cafe is outdoor sitting with an open sky, small lights while surrounded by trees. It’s peaceful with slow trance music and few bird cages with elf lights hanging on the trees. The best part about this cafe is water, juice and an even bill comes in Nutella Jar, isn’t it engaging.
Beetroot Bistro is always bookmarked in my mind and being a frequent visitor, still nothing feels better than this. Therefore, let me share my experience and start with best of sides.
The best of Beetroot Bistro:
Mostly they offer Continental and Italian food. My Favorites are Cheese garlic bread, Chicken Bruschetta, Fried bacon and Nachos with a Fresh lime Soda. Their mojitos are equally fresh and refreshing.
Mains: Hunter’s chicken is an interesting dish made up with a different sauce and a mild smoky flavor. Furthermore, they add a lot of mushrooms to the dish and it can go with rice. You can also try Honey Paprika chicken with mashed potatoes. You can just go with anything in Steak and Mediterranean with BBQ sauces and some cheese .Yummy Yummy !
Burgers: Don’t dare to miss their Chicken Perry Perry Burger (if you are cheese fan call for some more). This is the most recommended dish of Beetroot Bistro. You can also try the Beetroot Special Burger which is apparently not present in the menu.
Pasta: As this place offer more of Italian cuisine, you should try ‘Alfredo’. This is the only pasta made in white sauce. Cheesy dipped chicken with penne simply delicious.
Antipasti: This is for all sea food lovers. Fish and Chips in BBQ Cheese Satay, Garlic butter Prawns, BBQ Chicken and Fungi. My my, too much for one bite.
This is definitely the cafe where you need to be. It’s a perfect place for a romantic date. You can even drop in after brunch time with your friends to breathe some fresh air. The service is quick and you’ll definitely leave a tip as they don’t have any service charge.
