Every human does it. Some of us might be doing it right now. Yes, I am talking about texting. Today, texting is considered to be the most active mode of communication.

So lets check out some important rules of texting

Reply that text

Reply! Yes, you just have to do that. If someone text you, reply that person back. No one needs an immediate reply but that doesn’t mean you are texting them back after 3 days.

K is not Okay

“K” communicates several meanings. It means you are angry with that person or not interested in talking or may be too lazy to continue the conversation.”K”alphabet is rudest at least  say ” OK”.

Avoid stretched conversation

It is not always a good idea to stretch a conversation. You should try to understand the mood of the person whom you are texting. You cannot except a person to reply you with same zeal everyday.

Not more than twice

Texted a person twice and not getting any respond? This means they are not interested so stop texting them right away.

Do not  send a fake text

There is no need to send a fake text. If you are not interested in the conversation just  don’t  start it with a fake reply saying “hey” or “how are you”. Do it with full interest or just don’t.

Respond with a text

If someone sends you a text, don’t call them because there is a reason they have sent you a text. If they wanted to make conversation on phone they would have called you instead. Respond text with a text.

Avoid one word reply

If most of your text is in one word, you are the most annoying person ever. It is difficult to think a reply of “yes” “No” “Nothing” and how can we forget people favorite “Hmm”! If you really want that person to text you back, at least write more than two words.

Right text to the wrong person

Before you send a text, open your eyes and see to  whom you are going to send the text. Once its gone ,its GONE! Later regrets won’t help you to lesser your embarrassment.

Texting is just not about having a conversation, it is also about how you maintain that conversation. We all know a single text can make a  lot of difference.
